I took an electric bike here for repair on Sept. 1. The technician put it up on the rack, turned it on, shifted the gears, and told me it would take two weeks for the repair because of backlog. On Sept. 13, I was informed the bicycle could not be repaired. I picked it up today and was charged $129.89 for repairs that were not made. When challenged on this, the manager claimed two hours were spent by the technicians. Doing what?
Nothing was repaired. In short, I paid for a service not rendered in order to get the bike back. I bought two bicycles from this location in the past. They're good at sales. Service is abysmal. Cannot recommend. Update: After speaking to the manager by phone, they reversed the charges.
My wife and I went looking for bikes today at the big box retailers and could not decide on what to purchase. We made the decision to try Richardson Bike Mart and were treated to one of the finest retail experiences either of us can ever remember. Eric and his co-workers are friendly, knowledgeable and always looking to meet the needs of their customers. If only other local businesses created this kind of culture. If you need a bike and like us, are not sure what to buy, this is the place. Prices are reasonable and the staff is customer-focused.
I decided to get into Mountain Biking about 2 years ago. Colton H. greeted me and showed me the bikes and differences. He spent time with my wife and I and there was never pressure to buy. We bought 2 bikes that day. Almost 2 years later and we are buying our 6th bike from this company. They have been everything that I can ask for. I have had great service from all I have dealt with. I cannot recommend this location enough. Thanks for all you do!
Great bike store. Staff was very helpful and efficiently got me in and out with no problems.
Not impressed at all! I walked around that place for twenty minutes without ever having an employee offer to help. When I finally asked a salesman to help, he was the typical Yankee know it all type who talked non stop, nothing I said seemed to matter. Also, this hotshot sales guy had no idea what hydro-formed frames are and didn't care. I will go to a friendly shop and spent my $1000 on a bike.
